How does earthing work?
The body is made up of electrically charged atoms – protons (positive), electrons (negative) and neutrons (neutral). Our cells can be compared to batteries. How long can I use a grounding and earthing sheet for?
You can use your grounding sheet every night and for as long as you like. It is designed to become a simple part of your normal sleep routine, helping you reconnect to the Earth while you rest.
For best results, use it consistently with direct skin contact. Some people notice changes quickly, while for others it can take several weeks of regular use to notice a difference.
Can I get electrocuted using a grounding and earthing sheet?
No. The sheet connects only to the earth port of your power outlet — it does not connect to active electricity. The power point does not need to be switched on for the sheet to work.
The top two pins on the adapter are plastic, while the single bottom pin creates the earth connection. Each grounding cord also includes a built-in 100kΩ safety resistor for an added layer of protection.
Will washing a grounding sheet cause damage?
No — regular washing is recommended. Wash your grounding sheet every one to two weeks in cold or warm water, ideally with other linen or towels. This helps remove natural body oils and sweat from the silver fibres, keeping the sheet clean and conductive.
Never use bleach, fabric softener, whitening products or detergents containing oils, as these can tarnish the silver thread. Avoid high heat and tumble drying, as heat can shrink cotton and damage the conductive fibres.

What are the benefits of an organic cotton grounding sheet?

It is a more sustainable choice and is well suited to a product you use directly against your skin each night. Combined with conductive silver thread, it creates a comfortable and practical grounding sheet for everyday use.

Our Universal Grounding Sheet is made from 80% organic cotton and 20% conductive silver thread, with a 200-thread-count weave.
The silver fibres create the conductive pathway to the grounding cord, while the organic cotton keeps the sheet soft, breathable and comfortable to sleep on.
How do I clean my grounding and earthing sheet?
Machine wash in cold to warm water using a regular liquid laundry detergent. Washing with towels or other linen is ideal and helps remove sweat and skin oils from the conductive silver fibres.
Do not use bleach, fabric softener, whitening detergents, oxy-detergents or products containing oils such as lavender or coconut oil. Do not tumble dry or expose the sheet to high heat. If ironing is needed, use very low heat only.
It is also best to wait around one hour after applying body lotion before using the sheet, as lotions and oils can build up on and tarnish the silver thread over time.
