You may see brands promote the one material they sell as the “best.” Because we offer all three types, we’ve tested them side by side with a multimeter. Each reduces the small body voltage picked up from nearby household wiring by the same practical amount.
We’re grounding a small induced voltage—not powering an electrical appliance—so once a material is sufficiently conductive, greater conductivity doesn’t improve the result. You can verify this yourself by measuring your body voltage before and while grounded.
