Yes, you can use a grounding mat in bed. Place it where your body will remain in contact with it and connect the included grounding cord.
Because the mat is not fitted to the mattress, it may move around a little during the night. For larger coverage that stays securely in place, a grounding underlay or fitted grounding sheet may be more suitable.
Direct skin contact is recommended when using the standard Grounding Mat or the Soft Earthing Pad. They can be used under bare feet, hands, legs or another area of exposed skin.
The Premium Multi-Use Grounding Mat is designed to work through normal clothing, making it ideal for placing on a couch, chair or bed.
The black Grounding Mat can be wiped clean using a soft damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals, oils and abrasive cleaning products.
The Soft Earthing Pad and Premium Multi-Use Grounding Mat can be washed according to their supplied care instructions. Always disconnect the grounding cord before cleaning or washing.
Attach the grounding cord to the connection point on the mat, then plug the other end into the supplied Earthing adapter in a correctly grounded wall outlet.
The adapter connects only to the earth port and does not draw electricity from the power outlet.

Our grounding cords also include a built-in safety resistor. We recommend checking your outlet with a socket tester before use if you are unsure whether it is correctly grounded.
We test every grounding product for conductivity before dispatch, so additional testing is not necessary.
However, if you would like to check the connection yourself, you can use a multimeter to perform a conductivity or body-voltage test. When performing a body-voltage test, make sure you are sitting or lying on the mat so your body is properly connected to the conductive surface.
Readings can vary between rooms and homes depending on nearby electrical devices and the amount of electrical voltage your body is exposed to. The aim is to see a noticeable reduction rather than necessarily reaching zero.
