Urban Hippee started after my wife, Sarah, found grounding helpful while recovering from a snowboarding injury. Nearly a decade later, we’ve shipped more than 44,000 orders and earned thousands of verified customer reviews.
We still only sell products we’d use ourselves — and stand behind every one.
Restless nights, frequent waking and waking tired. Better sleep is one of the most common changes our customers tell us about.
Start the morning feeling more refreshed. Customers often tell us they wake feeling better rested and ready for the day.
Back, knees, hips, joints and stiffness. Grounding is commonly used as part of a nightly rest and recovery routine.
Nothing complicated. Simply ground while you sleep and decide for yourself if you notice the difference.
Most grounding sheets wear out because they take the full hit — body friction, sweat, skin oils and constant washing. Our Premium Grounding Underlay is designed differently.
Less direct friction. Less sweat exposure. Less frequent washing. That means better long-term performance compared with direct-contact grounding sheets.
After 9+ years in grounding products, we use medical-grade 316 stainless steel conductive fibre for strength, durability and corrosion resistance.
In our testing, under 30% conductive fibre didn't perform strongly enough beneath a normal sheet, while higher blends affected comfort. Our 30% blend gives the sweet spot: conductivity, comfort and durability.
Secure Fit –
adjustable straps hold it tight all night.
Breathable Cotton – soft, cool comfort while you sleep.
Carbon Patch–
locks cord to the grounding surface.
Stainless Steel Fibre –
medical-grade 316, non-corrosive.
Easy Care –
machine washable for daily use.
Extra Protection –
under-sheet use, works with PJs too.
Every Urban Hippee grounding cord has a built-in 100kΩ safety resistor, third-party tested for safety and reliability, so you get a steady connection to earth every night.
A premium underlay made for everyday grounding — designed for comfort, durability and long-term conductivity beneath your normal fitted sheet.

“Amazing fit! Easy to adjust and fits our king size well. Three weeks in and my hip pain is almost gone, sleeping deeper and longer! Excellent quality.”
“I’m blown away, had edema due to heart problems and arthritis for many years, now my swelling and pain have gone! I can’t believe it! Really it’s the best thing I have ever purchased, I also have no pain in my wrist from carpel tunnel! Just tingles! Thankyou for this product and I’ve only had it 1 wk on my bed, still realising what’s happened to me 🙏”
“A good quality product that arrived very quickly. It’s giving me a full night’s uninterrupted sleep and reduced the swelling in my arthritic hands. Highly recommend.”

Every sheet is conductivity-tested before it leaves us — so it works the moment you lay it down.
Many customers notice a calmer feeling once connected, with warmth, tingling, deeper relaxation, or a more grounded bedtime routine.
Customers often report falling asleep easier, waking less often, and feeling like their sleep is heavier, deeper, and more restorative.
One of the biggest things customers mention is waking up feeling looser, less heavy, and better recovered from training, work, stress, or long days.
With consistent nightly grounding, many customers describe feeling less inflamed, more mobile, and more comfortable getting out of bed in the morning.
Over time, grounding becomes an easy part of your sleep routine, supporting better rest, recovery, energy, and overall day-to-day wellbeing.

Our Premium Grounding Underlay Sheets are cut to fit real mattress sizes — not a one-size-fits-all sheet.
For most beds, simply choose the size that matches your mattress:
Need a larger fit?
The sheet can also be rotated sideways for wider beds.
A Queen underlay can fit a King mattress by turning it sideways, so the 203cm length runs across the width of the bed.
A King underlay can fit a Super King mattress the same way.
This covers the main sleeping area of the body and only leaves the pillow area uncovered, which is fine because your body is still resting over the conductive section.
It feels similar to a soft, light denim material.
No. We don’t recommend using mattress protectors, thick toppers or padded underlays between your body and the grounding product, as they can create too much interference and reduce conductivity.
For best results, place only a normal bed sheet over your Premium Grounding Underlay or Grounding Bed Mat.
Yes. Our Premium Grounding Underlay is designed to sit under your normal bed sheet — fitted or flat — so you don’t need to sleep directly on the conductive material.
For best results, avoid placing thick waterproof mattress protectors or heavy padded layers between you and the underlay, as these may reduce conductivity.
Yes. You can still wear pyjamas.
Direct skin contact isn’t needed. Your body can build up voltage from nearby electrical appliances and wiring, which can be tested with a multimeter.
The underlay connects you back to earth through your sheet and light sleepwear, helping discharge that buildup while you sleep.
Premium Grounding Underlay Sheets
Used under your normal bed sheet. They don’t require direct skin contact and only need washing every 4–6 months.
Cotton and Silver Fitted Grounding Sheets
Used like a normal fitted sheet and require direct skin contact. These can be machine washed as needed.
Premium Grounding Bed Mats
Used with a normal bed sheet over the top. If cleaning is needed, simply wipe the mat down with a non-abrasive cloth.
All three options can effectively ground the body. The main differences are the material, feel, setup and cleaning method.
Stainless steel 316 is medical grade and can handle regular exposure to corrosive elements, making it our most durable earthing product.
Machine wash every 4–6 months on a cold or warm delicate cycle with mild liquid detergent. Line dry only.
Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, whitening detergents, oils, tumble drying and high heat.
Yes. Power boards, double adapters and extension cords are designed to connect to the earth outlet.
No. The earthing sheet does not connect to active electricity. It only connects to the earth pin of your power outlet.
The power point doesn’t need to be switched on for it to work. The top two pins of the plug are plastic and non-functional. Only the single bottom pin connects to the earth, which safely grounds the sheet.
Every grounding cord also contains a built-in 100kΩ safety resistor for added protection.
Australian homes are required to be earthed for safety, but a multimeter is an easy way to check that your grounding product is working correctly.
Unlike basic continuity testers that only show a green light, a multimeter can show the voltage in your body reducing when you are grounded.

Because our underlay sits protected beneath your fitted sheet, it only needs washing every 4–6 months — far less than fitted grounding sheets that are exposed to sweat, friction and regular washing.
If added to your order, this cover protects your underlay’s conductivity for up to 10 years under normal household use.
Noticed a difference the very first night. Since I purchased, my daughter has bought a sheet and a pad. Very happy, thank you. I will be investing in more products when I can afford them.
It’s been one week, but our 5 week old baby went from sleeping 2-3 hours, to sleeping 4.5 hours every night since getting the mat. My partner’s also had a morning bowel movement every morning since getting our earth mat. Money well spent.
Great sleep at last.
So prompt with delivery. The king grounding sheet is amazing! Great nights sleep.
Hope the money back guarantee is true.
Yes, delivery service was great, but I’m not convinced it does what it’s supposed to. My leg still wakes me at night and my partner is still restless from aches. Had it on for over a week now.
Response from Urban Hippee
Hi Janice, thanks so much for the review, and we’re glad delivery was smooth!
Yes, the money-back guarantee is absolutely real. You’ve got the full 120-day trial, so there’s no pressure at all. One week is still very early days, and everyone’s experience is a little different. That’s exactly why we give people four months to see how it fits into their routine.
If you have any questions at all or want to talk through your setup, just reply to your order email and we’ll look after you personally. And if it’s not for you by the end of the trial, we’ll make it right, no fuss.
Warm regards,
Eli – Urban Hippee
I will buy another one next week.
Amazing service!
The speed I received my order was amazing. I already have a grounding sheet and I wanted one for another bed. I have thoroughly researched grounding sheets and I am a firm believer of the benefits. The sheet from Urban Hippee is great quality and was excellent from the first night!! Thank you 😊
No more inflammation!!
Ordering made easy! Easy to navigate website & prompt delivery. Goods are packaged well & are as advertised. Ordered bed sheet; and it’s been a full week with absolutely heavenly deep deep sleeps, inflammation reduced dramatically, waking more alert and no dragging my feet to get out of bed. Hubby twisted his ankle the day before it arrived & I did a plantar plate tear on my foot, both of us have experienced super fast recoveries. I believe our healing was expedited due to the reduced swelling aided by our Urban Hippee magic. Thank You 🙂
The order come especially quickly and my mistake on the order was very quickly reviewed and changed by the staff.
Excellent customer service and timely delivery. Would happily recommend to others and to use again.
I gave my partner this product to try and he says his sleep is definitely improved.
