What makes RecoveryBelt different from a red light panel? +
Panels are great for treating larger areas from a distance. RecoveryBelt is made for direct, hands-free treatment of a specific area—simply wrap it around the body part you want to target and continue relaxing, working or moving around the house.
What parts of the body can I use it on? +
Almost anywhere you can comfortably wrap it. Popular areas include the lower back, upper back, shoulders, hips, knees, thighs, calves, arms, elbows, ankles and abdomen.
Should I use it over clothing or directly on skin? +
For the most direct treatment, place RecoveryBelt against bare skin. It can still be used over a thin layer of clothing when needed, but direct skin contact is the preferred option.
What do the red and near-infrared light settings do? +
RecoveryBelt combines visible 660nm red light with invisible 850nm near-infrared light. Red light is commonly used for skin-level support, while near-infrared light is chosen for deeper muscle and joint areas. You can select red light, near-infrared light, or use both together.
How long should I use RecoveryBelt for? +
Start with 10–15 minutes per area and see how it fits into your routine. The touchscreen controller lets you select a 5–30 minute session, so you can easily keep treatment consistent without watching the clock.
How often can I use it? +
Many people use it several times per week as part of their regular wellness or recovery routine. Consistency matters more than doing long sessions, so choose a schedule you can comfortably maintain.
Is RecoveryBelt battery powered? +
RecoveryBelt includes a USB power cord and can be used with a compatible power bank for portable sessions (power bank not included). For the strongest and most consistent LED output, we recommend plugging it directly into power where possible. Battery-powered belts can limit power to the LEDs, meaning longer treatment sessions may be needed.
Will the belt feel hot? +
You may feel gentle warmth during a session, particularly after the belt has been on for several minutes. If it ever feels uncomfortable, stop the session and allow the area to cool before using it again.
