Australian homes have a built-in earthing system, typically connected to a copper rod driven 1.5–3 metres into the ground.
The earth port on your power outlet connects to this system. Our grounding products plug into this port, creating a direct connection to the ground beneath your home.
This does not involve active electricity.
No power flows into the sheet or mat.
