Socket Tester | Check Your Power Point Is Grounded

How to use

1. Plug socket tester into your power outlet
2. If the two lights on the left and middle are both on together that means your socket is working fine. 
3. If you have only 1 green light on the left side, then you know that the socket is not earthed. (Most Australian homes are earthed, it’s the multi power boards that are worth checking)

   

NOTE – If you press the orange RCD TEST button located at the bottom of the tester (Residual Current Device) your home will most likely lose power as this is what tests that your circuit breaker is working correctly.

How does earthing work?

The body is made up of electrically charged atoms – protons (positive), electrons (negative) and neutrons (neutral). Our cells can be compared to batteries. Electricity allows our nervous system to send signals to our brain. All these signals create electronic charges that travel from cell to cell allowing us to make mental and physical decisions. With grounding, our blood will thin and balance the electrical charge through negative electron absorption from the earth. 

The earth holds an enormous negative charge and our bodies can absorb the electrons through the soles of our feet or via one of our grounding products. It is been known to be one of the most effective anti-oxidants that can relieve pain, reduce swelling, improve sleep, enhance well-being and much more.

How long can I earth for?

The longer the better, we spend majority of our lives separated from the earth. Reconnecting with earth’s natural energy will return the body and mind to a place of well-being. 

Can I get electrocuted?

No, our cable incorporates a 98k ohm resistor that acts as a safety fused link and it is impossible for your earthing sheet to conduct electricity when only connected to an earth outlet of your home. The power point does not need to be turned on in order for the sheet to work. The top two pins of the plug are plastic and the single bottom pin is what connects you to the earth. 

How do I know my grounding product is working?
